Melissa has been involved with the FCA ministry since 2010 serving as a board member and volunteer. In February of 2022 Melissa made the jump to come on staff for Southeast Kansas FCA as the Administrative Assistant for her husband Gary Larson the SEK FCA Area Director.

Melissa and Gary have dedicated their lives to serving others, “Serving coaches and athletes all across the Southeast Kansas region has been such a huge blessing to us, to see lives changed for Jesus using sports as a vessel is amazing,” stated Melissa.

Melissa is also a Registered Nurse and works part-time as a surgery nurse at Kansas Medical Center in Andover Kansas. She also is co-owner of an Electro Equiscope pain management clinic called ReNew You in Neodesha Ks.

Melissa and Gary and their family recently planted a new church (Neodesha CrossRoads Church) in Neodesha Ks. in 2020 and currently lead that thriving and youthful church.

Melissa and Gary have 6 children and 14 grandchildren and enjoy every minute of time they get with family.
