Gavin Ware is serving Kansas FCA as the state's Wrestling Representative. A former wrestling and football alumni of Clay Center High School ('18), Gavin went on to play college football at Butler Community College. And it was during his freshman year that he radically encountered God in a New Testament studies class; which ultimately led him to recognize his need for redemption, and find new life in Jesus.
Feeling a strong call into full-time ministry, in 2021, Gavin left his firefighting career and joined the FCA team. With a deep desire to understand the Word of God, and to impact and teach it to others, FCA gives him a platform to connect and reach a wide variety of people across Kansas!
Gavin is married to his best friend Emily, who is currently in training for dentistry at UMKC. Gavin is also continuing training of his own at the Midwestern Seminary.”
